Privacy Policy Coverage
• This policy covers how Champion Metal of Washington, Inc. (CM) treats personal information that CM collects and receives, including information related to your past use of CM products and services. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.
• This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that CM does not own or control or to people that CM does not employ or manage. In addition, certain CM associated companies (distributors and/or builders) have their own privacy statements which can be viewed by clicking on the links.
General Policy
• When you register on our Contact Us form we ask for information such as your name, email address, address, city, state, zip code, phone number(s), and product usage information. Once you register with CM, you are not anonymous to us.
• The information CM collects will in some cases be forwarded to our distributors and/or builders for follow-up, including information about your interest in CM’s products and services.
• CM automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP Address, and the page(s) you request.
• CM uses information for the following general purposes: to determine the content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
• CM does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
• We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with CM under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help CM communicate with you about offers from CM and our marketing partners. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.
Use of Cookies
• CM does not install cookies on your computer.
• On occasion CM may allow other companies to show advertisements on some of our pages set and access their cookies on your computer. Other companies' use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not this one.
Your Information and Preferences
• You can not edit your Contact Us information, including your product interests, at any time.
• You have the right to “opt out” of receiving any addition information from CM when you submit your Contact Information.
• We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the CM service, such as service announcements, administrative messages and the CM Newsletter, that are considered part of your CM account, without offering you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving them.
• You can delete your CM account by call our toll free number, 1-800-562-1014, and requesting your information be marked as deleted.
